AWS Automotive SDV Services
Software-Defined Vehicle Cloud Platform
Role
Research, Product, UX & Solutions Architect - Co-development Partner Lead
Challenge
The automotive industry needed a unified platform to federate, govern, and distribute vehicle data in near real-time. Automakers required a single point of truth for vehicle-generated data with well-defined interfaces and simple data ingestion capabilities to accelerate software-defined vehicle development.
Solution
Built a fully managed cloud service providing a unified data plane for next-generation software-defined vehicles (SDV). The platform handles secure distribution and management of near real-time application and vehicle data between millions of connected vehicles and cloud-native services. Simplifies bidirectional data flow while reducing infrastructure costs and improving data governance.
My Role & Contributions
Primary Responsibilities
Co-development Partner Lead
Led direct collaboration with BMW DE-7 R&D organization to build next-generation Smart Vehicle Shadow system as primary technical interface between AWS and BMW teams.
Solutions Architect - Honda
Reverse engineered Honda's existing infrastructure and designed integration architecture for SDV platform adoption, including GenAI and Agentic systems implementation.
Product & UX Leadership
